THE SERVICES
Made for the surfaces around your property.
From block-paved driveways and garden patios to timber decking and commercial entrances, explore cleaning options for the surfaces around your property. Every service page explains what the work involves and what affects the finish.

Driveway cleaning
Lift built-up dirt and organic growth from suitable block paving, concrete and other drive surfaces.

Patio cleaning
Revive outdoor seating areas and garden paving with a method suited to the material.

Paths & paving
Practical cleaning for footpaths, steps, walkways and connecting areas.

Decking & timber
Considered low-pressure cleaning where suitable for timber and composite surfaces.

Exterior surfaces
An appropriate approach for walls, boundary surfaces and other exterior hard surfaces.

Commercial cleaning
Site-specific exterior cleaning for business premises and managed areas.

THE IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE
Not every surface should be pressure washed.
Natural stone, painted render, timber and older or damaged pointing can be vulnerable to aggressive washing. The appropriate method may involve reduced pressure, careful pre-treatment or an alternative system.
We will not describe high-pressure cleaning as suitable for every material. Where a surface appears unsuitable, this should be discussed before a quote is agreed.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SERVICE
Start with the surface, not the machine
Pressure washing is suitable for some hard surfaces but can damage others. These are the distinctions worth considering before requesting a quote.
Hard paving
Driveways, patios and paths can collect algae, silt and traffic dirt. Jointing material, cracks, sealant and porous stone all affect the method, and some marks are permanent.
Timber and composite
Decking boards can be damaged by pressure. Timber grain, previous coatings and manufacturer guidance take priority over a standard high-pressure treatment.
Walls and facades
Painted render, brickwork and exterior cladding may require careful, low-pressure techniques or no washing at all if the finish is unsound.
WHAT A QUOTE SHOULD COVER
Understand the proposed job before agreeing a date.
Area size is only one part of a useful quotation. The surface, level of contamination, drainage, access, nearby plants and fixtures, and any existing defects can all change the scope.
Ask what preparation is included, whether specialist products or post-cleaning jointing are proposed, and how delicate edges will be handled. For commercial sites, working hours, pedestrian management and runoff controls may also need to be discussed.
The individual service guides on this website explain common limitations and the information that helps produce a sensible proposal. They do not represent a guarantee that every material can be treated.
